GRADES
  • Friday ends the first grading period. These progress reports are snapshot in time of your child's grade. Grades change on a day to day basis. The most accurate look at your child's grade is in parent portal. If you are not on parent portal, please be sure to get your child's access code from the office. Final report card grades (December and June) are what we see on their official transcripts, not progress report grades.
  •  In math, I have walked the kids through a couple of the "Cool Down" assignments. These assignments come at the end of lessons and are meant to see if the student has grasped the concept in the lesson. I made sure that everyone in both classes had done the assignment correctly, having some of them correct their papers 2 or 3 times. I did this to make sure they know what is expected in these assignments. We have not had an official test yet. This will be coming after lesson 11.
  • Science: Students get credit for notes taken and tasks done in class. We have not had a test yet, but there will be one coming at the end of the gravity unit in a couple of weeks. Notes are posted in Google Classroom. Notes not finished in class should be completed at home or during tutorial.
Thank YOU!!
  • To all of the families that donated paper and supplies!
  •  To everyone who donated for the field trip and Science donations.
