Happy Days are here again: I was so happy to see 100% attendance in all of my classes today! I'm so glad that everyone is safe and sound! Yes, it's true - there is no homework this week. We are working on class projects in both math and science. This week is spirit week. This is what is happening each day:
Tuesday - Camo Day
Wednesday - Dress to Impress
Thursday - Pink - Support Cancer awareness and a CURE!
Friday - Flip Flop Friday (with an extra pair of shoes for PE).
Yearbooks: Yearbooks are on sale for $40 cash or check made out to GVMS. If you buy a yearbook before winter break you get your name printed on the front cover for free. After winter break prices will go up and no name will be printed on the cover.
Canned Food Drive: Our annual canned food drive starts today and runs through November 16. Bring any and all canned foods to your first period teacher. This is a wonderful opportunity to help out those in need. All of the food we collect stays in our community.
Donations for Fire Victims: WEB, Student Council, and Leadership are working together to collect new school supplies for the kids in Napa and Sonoma Counties that have lost everything. If you can donate any new school supplies, backpacks, or household supplies (shampoo, condition, toothpaste, deodorant), please bring them to the sorting boxes outside Mrs. Bates' office (G101).
