Classroom Happenings

Once a week students are having a  "Life Skills" lesson in Science. There are 7 sessions as follows:
1: Self Image
2: Making Decisions
3: Myths and Realities regarding smoking/tobacco/e-cigs
4: Myths and Realities of alcohol and marijuana
5: Coping with Anxiety and Anger
6: Media Influences
7: Communication/Social Skills

• Math Facts practice: Please have students practice math facts daily.

• Signed up on Khan Academy. I am very happy that the math program we are doing is linked up with Khan Academy. I am assigning homework on Khan Academy, but students can and should do as much as they can on this site. I have also provided a link for the program that offers family support, so that you can review the lessons at home. 

Progress Reports: Progress Reports are now done electronically through Aeries. You will need to login to see your child's grades. When you login, you are looking at the gradebook and what their current grades are. At the top you can click on "Grades" to see the first progress report grade.

*November 1 - PJ Day and Slides AND Mrs. Perriatt's Birthday
*November 2 - Disney Day
